This is not the first person I’ve read or listened to make similar statements in the last week. Where’s the magic? Where’s the CHANGE? Where’s the universal peace that was supposed to explode over the entire world as soon as he took office? Could it be that race really didn’t matter and our enemies really did hate us because we’re a free society and not just because George W. Bush was in the White House?

As the ecnomony continues to evolve (a different topic); terrorists (not those veterans with Ron Paul bumper stickers) continue efforts to strike at us; and our government inflates to gigatuan levels we are seeing that despite all the utopian promises on the campaign trail.

The President is prooving that “you can take the politician out of government while on the campaign trail, but you can never take the government out of the politician once in office”.
